Washing of concrete and cement floors

Concrete looks indestructible, but it is porous: it grabs moss, soil and stains that darken it and make it slippery. With a rotary cleaner and the right pressure, we give it back its even tone, without the stripes of a hand-held jet.

Why it is not worth putting off

Moss gets into the pores of the concrete and, in the rain, the surface becomes slippery. The longer it is left, the deeper it goes, and the harder (and costlier) it is to remove.

How we do it

  • Rotary surface cleaner → even concrete, no stripes
  • Pressure adjusted (new/weak concrete needs more care)
  • Degreaser + hot water for oil stains
  • Optional anti-moss treatment in shaded areas

Mistakes we see (and avoid)

  • Acid on concrete, weakens the surface
  • High pressure on new or weak concrete, pits and wears it
  • Leaving the moss, it turns slippery again with every rain

Frequently asked questions

Does it remove oil stains?
Yes, with degreaser + hot water. Very old ones may leave a faint shadow, we show you on a test patch.
Does the concrete get damaged?
No, with adjusted pressure. New or crumbling concrete we treat with extra care and warn you first.
Does the moss come back?
With anti-moss it takes much longer. In shaded areas, an annual wash keeps everything under control.
