In Penafiel, granite is everywhere: stone walls, facades, steps and patios that, with the damp, grow moss, lichen and dark stains. Granite takes pressure but does not like acids, which stain it. We clean with a product suited to the stone and adjusted pressure, from Paço de Sousa to Rio de Moinhos and Termas de São Vicente.
Why in Penafiel
Lots of country houses with long granite walls and stone entrances: cleaning brings back the light tone of the stone and takes the slipperiness off the steps in winter.
