Office carpet: when and how to clean it without stopping work
In an office the carpet takes hundreds of steps a day. Fine dust, crumbs and coffee stains get into the fibres, and the carpet starts to look worn long before it is. With the air conditioning on, that dust goes back into the room.
How often to clean it
- Vacuum every day in walkways and around desks
- Treat stains the same day, before they dry
- Deep extraction cleaning once or twice a year, or more often in busy offices

- Spilled coffee or tea: blot at once with paper, without rubbing, and use just a little cold water
- Entrance mats at the door: they catch much of the dirt from the street
- Mats under chairs with wheels: they prevent wear in the same spots
Professional cleaning
We do injection-extraction on site, with little moisture and hypoallergenic products, always testing a hidden area first. How much it costs
