How much does it cost to pressure wash a patio in Porto/Gaia? (real 2026 prices)
It is the question everyone asks, and one that almost nobody in the trade answers publicly. Here are the real numbers.
The price per square metre
In Greater Porto, professional washing of patios and paving typically costs €4 to €6/m² with normal dirt, and €6 to €9/m² when there are years of moss and black crust. In our case, these figures already include cleaning product and travel: it is the guide price.
Concrete examples
- Garage entrance (~25 m², medium dirt): €110-130
- 60 m² patio, light to medium dirt: €270-330 (~2-2.5 hours of work)
- 100 m² patio, very dirty, with old moss: €600-900
What makes the price go up
Three factors: the level of dirt (old moss takes twice as long), the type of stone (Portuguese pavement needs a neutral-pH detergent, never acids!), and no tap on site (a water tank has to be brought).
