A wool rug lasts for decades if it is treated well. Wool is tough and even repels some dirt, but it has three enemies: hot water, hard rubbing and harsh products. That is why many wool rugs get ruined in their first cleaning at home.

Day to day

What to avoid

A stain on a wool rug

Blot it at once with a white cloth, from the outside in, and use just a little cold water. For wine and coffee, see what to do in the first minutes in wine or coffee stain on the rug.

Professional cleaning

We do injection-extraction at your home, with little moisture and hypoallergenic products, always testing a hidden area before cleaning the whole rug. If the rug is old, silk or valuable, send us a photo on WhatsApp first.

How much it costs

Rug and carpet cleaning costs from €10/m², with a €35 minimum order: a 2 × 3 m rug comes to about €60. We work in Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos, Maia and Gondomar.
