How much does mattress cleaning cost in Porto? Price and what is included
Cleaning a mattress in your home costs €30 per mattress, guide price and VAT-exempt. It is the same for a single or a double, the anti-mite treatment is included, and there is no prepayment: you pay at the end, once you have seen the result.
The price: €30 per mattress, no surprises
Mattress cleaning has a guide price per piece. The minimum order is €35, so a single mattress on its own comes to €35 with travel; two mattresses in the same visit are €60; a mattress and a 3-seat sofa are €30 plus €55. The figure on the site calculator is what you pay, with no travel fee hidden inside the areas where we do interior work.
What the cleaning includes
- Injection-extraction equipment that pulls dirt out of the inner layers, not just the surface
- Anti-mite treatment, included with every mattress
- Eco-friendly, hypoallergenic products, safe for children and pets
- A dedicated product for each type of stain: sweat, urine, blood, coffee
- Done in the bedroom, without taking the mattress out of the house
How long it takes to dry
The cleaning itself is quick; what matters is drying, usually between 2 and 6 hours depending on the fabric and the humidity that day. With a window open or the heating on, it dries faster. That is why we suggest booking in the morning: by night the mattress is ready to sleep on.
What comes out and what may stay
Dirt, odour and dust mites come out. Very old yellow stains from years of sweat get much lighter but can leave an outline you notice up close: we show exactly that, with photos, in the real case of the mattress with yellow stains. We say it before we start, so the price matches what you will see.
When cleaning beats replacing
A new double mattress costs several hundred euros; a cleaning costs €30. If the mattress is still firm and has no broken springs, cleaning almost always pays off, especially in homes with allergies or pets. On how often to do it, see how often to clean a mattress; for dust mites specifically, see dust mites in the mattress.
